CNP Professional - Pro-Dessert

CNP Professional's Pro-Dessert a delicious way to include more quality protein into your diet. Pro-Dessert mixes easily in 150ml of cold water in a shaker bottle, hand mixer or blender and then can be poured into a desired container and allowed to set for 3 to 5 minutes.

CNP Professional's instant protein pudding mix is made from a unique blend of fast and slow release undenatured proteins. Pro-Dessert includes micellar casein which is an undenatured slow release protein, medically proven to be anti catabolic plus whey protein high fraction concentrate which is an undenatured fast release protein providing higher levels of growth factors than normal whey protein concentrates that are denatured i.e. have passed through chemical or heat treatment processes.

Peptide bonded glutamine has been included too as it is an amino acid that promotes a healthy gut and growth hormone production. Egg white has also been added due to its high content of the amino acid cysteine which helps maintain muscle mass and protects the liver. Cysteine also plays an important part in the production of glutathione which is the body's primary anti oxidant which neutralise free radicals and enhances the immune system.

Pro-Dessert is ideal to be taken after any meal to increase protein intake or can be taken as a healthy treat at any time. Micellar casein (milk protein) is an undenatured slow released protein, medically proven to be anti-catabolic (stopping muscle breakdown).

Whey protein high fraction concentrate is an undenatured fast released protein containing higher levels of growth factors than normal whey protein concentrates. Whey protein is a by-product from the manufacture of cheese due to the heat-treating of milk (curds and whey). A lot of the growth factors and the amino acid cysteine become deficient because of this process. CNP's proteins are cold processed.

Peptide Bonded Glutamine is an amino acid that promotes a healthy gut, increases growth hormone and is the highest amino acid found in human muscle (It would be very hard to get enough glutamine in the system from food alone).

Amino acids are absorbed by molecular weight and peptide bonded amino acids are heavier than free form.

Egg White has a high level of the amino acid cysteine, which is a key amino acid in maintaining muscle mass and helps protect the liver. Cysteine (Non Essential Amino Acid) plays an important role in the production of Glutathione (a small protein), which is the bodies primary anti-oxidant, which neutralises free radicalsand enhances the immune system which is important in the manufacture of muscle growth.

Maltodextrin is an easily digestible form of carbohydrate made from various natural sources (e.g. corn, rice, potato and waxy maize) and is thus available in a range of DE values (dextrose equivalent). A lower D.E. value in a maltodextrin equates to a lower G.I. (glycemic index) and yes this lower G.I. material is both a reality and freely available. Pro-Desert contains low D.E. material (same as used in Pro-MR). Maltodextrin is the preferred carbohydrate used in energy foods, due to its solubility, low taste profile, and quick absorption.
